Now you're in one of my favourite cities. See all the touristy stuff but Paris is best seen off the beaten path. Follow a cobblestone path down a sideroad just to see where it goes. Follow the sounds of music into a wonderful restaurant to try a new taste. The best of Paris is found in its every day life behind what is offered to the tourist. I can't wait to read all about your adventures. They've sounded wonderful so far!
Just seeing if you are still alive and kickin. Are the sketches yours? They look professional.I blogged Gabe and expressed my happiness that he is expanding his design horizons. You too are becoming a better designer through your European experience. You will be able to draw upon a much larger pool of potential possibilities as you delve into other societies and cultures. Your ability to filter out what is valuable and what isn’t will mature faster than your peers, as well. Your library of ideas is constantly growing with everything you see, hear, touch, …even smell.Like a design sponge. In a way, I admit I am jealous.Kevin WoolleyP.S. That comment about smells had no connection with the fact that you are in France and French bathing.
